After little more than a year ago, my friend reached out again on the use of Vicodin for a month. He used the month to be as strong as it was the last time. It took 3 years to reach 15-20 per day to host, has been clean for a year and is approaching the use of high doses, this time it took to get one months. I am concerned I am happy about their own health (brain damage, damage to the digestive system, making the relationship) People who love him more suspicious of him and perhaps never again '

If someone is addicted, and then it becomes clear, do not stop their addiction. And if it is their dependence, as if it never stopped. To stay clean, it must be the person in their recovery work, and later after many years. Good luck with your friend, I went on the recovery of coke addicts with my friend now.

The opportunities to get out of a drug depends on many factors. You need a good support system in place (parents, friends, etc.) to help you when it matters. You also want to stay away from drugs. If you do not want to clean and keep clean, you always have a drug problem.
You can never "cure" an addiction, but you can "recover" in a desperate state of mind and body. The only way I know it is for me to attend meetings of the AA and NA and do what is suggested in the respective work programs. Side note. The only difference in the twelve steps of the two organizations to finalize "the first step.
